On the Park Bed and Breakfast invites you to stay a night or more with us. As the name implies, it is located across the street from beautiful Audubon Park established in 1908. This 1927 bungalow has been completely renovated but kept in style with the original design. Sit and enjoy the covered front porch while viewing the park on a white wicker settee and enjoy a cup of coffee on a quiet morning. The side entrance with arbors and hanging flowers provides café- like seating. The winding path passes the flowerbeds that lead to the back patio garden. You’ll enter a private area with pergola, climbing vines, river rock, water feature, roses and flowers. Envelope yourself in Tuscan ambiance where umbrella table and Italian lights make the night special and memorable like dancing in the moonlight.

Upon entering the living room, you will enjoy a peek of elegant 1920’s with wood and crown moldings throughout and you’ll be surrounded by a mixture of traditional and antique furniture and décor surrounding the fireplace in the heart of the room. Guests are welcome to enjoy reading, board games or the tranquility of a fire on a cool night. 

The dining room is where you will be served a scrumptious breakfast on fine china lit under a crystal chandelier. Next to the living room, the ‘Ruby’s Room’, [for Linda’s grandmother], is a spacious room that invites you into an era of top hats and fine beaded dresses and long sleeve gloves. The king size bed is hugged with red toile bedding. Pale yellow wallpaper is a backdrop for an armoire and dresser that provide ample storage. Room is equipped with a TV, VCR and air conditioner. The bathroom has 1920’s fixtures, a terrazzo floor and a large soaking tub with shower.                                Continued....

You may chose to reside during your stay in ‘Ron’s Room’, [named after Linda’s father], as this was his favorite room to refuge in after living in the hustle bustle of a big city. French doors introduce you to the extra large room that houses a Louis XV queen-size bed, full-size Murphy bed and dressing/writing table. Comfortable seating faces the remote control gas fireplace, TV and VCR unit. The room has wallpaper of golden tones and deep rose floral boarder allude to the feeling of Tuscan tranquility. Your private bath has roomy double shower with seats, golden-starred wallpaper and terra cotta flooring. A shared kitchenette and seating is a handy few steps away for your convenience. ‘Ron’s Room’ has a private entrance to the beautiful outside garden where pathway and greenery and river rock flow together to create a soothing and peaceful area to sit and enjoy the day or evening. ‘Ron’s Room’ sleeps 4 comfortably and families are welcome.

Nearby, across from kitchenette is ‘Alice’s Room’, [named for bob’s mother]. The room in pastel tones makes cozy backdrop for 1920’s queen poster bed and dresser. Enjoy the ambience of corner gas fireplace, comfortable seating, and French doors. The attached bath has large 4 ft shower with seat, pedestal sink, tile floor, beautiful sconce lighting and sweet décor.  *Ron’s and Alice’s rooms together can accommodate 6 and with kitchenette, makes for a great family suite!

There are 4 annual summer concerts in the park including the Spokane Symphony. Book a stay during that unique and fun event. Call us for dates, time and type of music.
